Completion of the Nurse Practitioner Refresher Course is required of any Nurse Practitioner who has not had an active approval to practice in greater than two (2) years. It is an individually planned and self-directed course of study containing required components. The components required are based on the number of years the Nurse Practitioner has been out of active clinical Nurse Practitioner practice.
